"vintage 1983, late harvest - i am born in autumn just after the harvest.

After successfully completing viticulture school, I felt drawn to travel abroad—all in the name of wine, of course. After all, my parents have been running their winery in Gols for many years; it’s where I grew up and where I’ve always envisioned my future. During this time, I’m gaining practical experience and fresh insights into viticulture and winemaking, primarily in New Zealand and Germany.

In 2006, I launched my first collection of red wines, which was met with great acclaim from local wine experts. Just a few years later, in 2011, at the age of only 28, I took over my parents’ winery and began managing it on my own.”

“I was born in Mönchhof, a village near Markus’s home, which is Austria’s oldest wine-growing community. Thanks to my parents’ side business, I got a taste of the fascinating world of wine at an early age.”

“After graduating from high school and earning a degree in international business relations from the University of Applied Sciences in Eisenstadt, I initially found myself working in the field of controlling. That continued until my wedding and the birth of my children; since then, I’ve been passionately managing the office and overseeing tastings here on our farm.”

Our lives are made complete by starting a family: we got married a year after taking over the winery. Our daughter Anna, born in 2013, and our son Laurens, born in 2016, make our family happiness complete.
